Many immediately think of spring – mild temperatures, blooming landscapes, and fewer tourists. But the perfect time for a Mallorca wedding really depends on the kind of wedding you want.
As a wedding planner on Mallorca, we organize weddings all year round – and here we share our practical advice based on our experience.
Mallorca Wedding Seasons – An Overview
Mallorca is a year-round destination, but not every month works for every type of wedding.
Spring: quiet, green, mild
Summer: warm to hot, long evenings
Autumn: warm, golden light, very popular
The key factors are not just the weather but also guest origin, wedding style, and timing of your day.
Spring (March – May): Beautiful, but limited for pool parties
Spring in Mallorca is lovely and green. Temperatures are comfortable, especially for sightseeing and outdoor activities.
Important for international couples:
Pools are usually too cold
Pool parties or long outdoor aperitifs are rarely possible
Evenings can get chilly, especially in March and April
Spring works well for:
elegant, daytime weddings
smaller guest lists
ceremonies without a pool focus
Not ideal if you want a summery pool party or extended outdoor dinner.
June: The Start of the Perfect Wedding Season
June marks the real beginning of the wedding season in Mallorca.
Why June works so well:
warm, but usually still comfortable temperatures
pools are pleasantly warm
long days and beautiful evening light
From June onward, weddings typically:
start later in the day
have ceremonies in the late afternoon
continue with dinner and evening celebrations
Ideal for couples who want:
summer vibes
pool and outdoor concepts
guests traveling from the UK, Ireland, or the USA
High Summer (July – August): Stunning but demanding
High summer is intense, in both a positive and planning sense.
What you should know:
very high daytime temperatures
ceremonies usually start around 6 PM
higher costs due to peak season
Best for:
luxury evening weddings
beach or finca weddings with clear structure
couples who plan to have a wedding weekend with pre and post events
With proper planning, summer weddings can be spectacular – but they require experience and well-organized schedules.
September & October: The Most Popular Months for Weddings
For many couples – and for us as planners – September and October are the top months.
Why these months are so popular:
warm days, pleasant evenings
pools and the sea at perfect temperatures
golden light, relaxed atmosphere
Important: These months, as well as June, are very popular. Top venues are often booked 12–18 months in advance.
